anyways i remmeber long time ago i read a book either called skin or skins. ican't seem to find it on google, but i remember it was about a girl, who had just recovered from an accident, and by some sort of science/magic can't remember she put into a new 'fake' body because her body was so mutilated.
and her sister won't accept her because she's not he "real" sister. her real sister is dead she keeps saying. anyways and this girl, because her body is fake, essentially like roboticlike. she cannot feel anything. and she gets really sad because she can't feel anything. the soft grass, runnign water, warmth of the sun.
so she does various extreme activities just to feel the tiniest feeling. like if she jumps of a 10m cliff and falls to the ground, for some reason she'll be able to feel something. and that feeling to her is great.
yeah that story makes me sad BOOHOAHDOHASO
the pursuit to feeeel sumthing. haha
